Hi, I'm Rajesh Kumar Rana — a backend architect with 12+ years building high-throughput systems across supply-chain tech and media/OTT platforms.
On the supply-chain side, I've built GS1 identity infrastructure — member onboarding & licensing platforms, GTIN issuance, barcode/QR generation pipelines, and a GS1 Digital Link Resolver serving product data to businesses and consumers.
Right now I'm documenting a 10-week build-in-public journey: adding AI engineering to that stack — product data intelligence, a product catalog copilot, and catalog quality detection.
The thesis I'm testing: the bottleneck for AI in commerce isn't models. It's the messy product-data layer underneath. I write about what ships, what breaks, and what it costs.
